We delivered over 80 shots on black and white indie sci-fi film L.O.L.A, directed by Andrew Legge as the sole VFX vendor. The groundbreaking found footage film was set against the backdrop of the Second World War and our work involved augmenting the production’s own footage, archive and newsreel to convincingly create an alternate reality.
An Irish/Welsh co-production, LOLA is written by Andrew Legge and Angeli Macfarlane, from a story by Legge and Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth (Tell it to the Bees).
The film had its World Premiere at Locarno International Film Festival in August 2022 and was released in UK cinemas in April 2023.
